Lloyd at ux for street vacations. A communication from A. H. Lloyd and Mrs. Hazel C. Lloyd, in the form of a petition for vacation of certain streets, was presented, and read, as follows: Port Townsend, Wash., December 4, 1933 To the honorable wayor and City Council, Port Townsend, Wash. Gentlemen: - ',Ye hereby. petition that you vacate for us all those parts of Jackman Street and Seventh St., in the zisembeis Addition which lies South of the Olympic highway; The pirt of seventh St. referred to is a triangular piece of land not exceeding thirt feet in its greatest dimension, extending from the Olympic Highway east to its interseetio with Jackman Street. The part of Jackman St., referred to extends from the Olympic Highway south through its intersection with Seventh Street and thence about 200 feet further South, passing diag onally over the eggs of the bluff and terminating at the foot of the bluff. This situatio of the street makes it useless as a thoroughfare and it can never be so used. We own all property which fronts on those parts of the two streets referred to, inclu ding the property across the end of Jackman St. It is our desire to place our entire tract under cultivation and specialize in bulb production. This would be practically impossible unless the said portions of streets were va^.ated. It is our belief that the bulb gardens which we contemplate establishing would prove a decided attraction to that portion of the city. Thanking you for your kind consideration, we remain, Very respectfully yours, Mrs. Hazel C. Lloyd A. H. Lloyd Said communication was referred to the Committee on Streets and Sewers. REQUISITIONS.
