Emeraencv Ordinance for Extra Cost: It was moved by Councilman Townsend and seconded by Councilman Aubert that the City Attorney be instructed to draw an emergency ordinance appropriating funds to cover the cost of transporting the said pipe for gasaddm and such other items as do not come under the Civil Works, Administration and the motion was declared carried. Townsend Reports: Councilman Townsend then made a brief report of the status of the employment and work done by persons from the Civil Works Administration list and that he was perfdrming the said work under authorization by the Mayor and the said Board. In the matter of gasoline for trucks and autos engaged in the said work, it was moved by Councilman Aubert and seconded by Councilman Smith that Mr. Townsend be authorized to issue requisitions for the necessary gasoline to be used for the said work. Upon roll cal all seven Councilmen voted in the affirmative and motion declared carried. Mayorts Authorization to Mr. Townsend: Mayor Bangerter then stated that Mr. Townsend had been authorized by him to take charge of all such work, including the regular street department crew for the period to be covered by the Civil Works Administration. The City Clerk brought up the matter of a bill for $12.60, fo finger printing supplies, submitted by N. D.
