The work report of Street Supt. Pollard for the period ending October 31st was pre-

Main Line Meter Readings:

Fire and Light Committee on Monroe Street Light:
The Committee on Fire and Light presented the following written report:
Port Townsend, Wash., Nov. 7, 1933.
To the Honorable Mayor and City Council
of Port Townsend, Wash.
Gentlemen:
Your Committee to whom was referred the matter of the light at the intersection of
Monroe and Roosevelt Streets, have, on investigation, found that the complainants are
justified in asking that the light be shifted from the pole at the upper end of the inter-
section to the pole at the lower end across the street, as there it would be more effec-
tive and serve more people, the expense would be very little.

It was moved by Councilman Aubert and seconded by Councilman Miller that the said
report be adopted. Motion declared carried.
Harbor and Health Committee:
Councilman McGee, reporting verbally for the Harbor and Health Committee, stated that
hbo.had had no complaints on the garbage situation.
Broken Street Light:
Councilman Aubert, reporting verbally, stated that the Managerof the electric light
company had informed him that it was practically impossible to keep a street light burning
on Discovery Road near the cemetery, as it was being continually broken soon after being
replaced. Councilman McGee also reported that one of the lights on Water Street had not
been burning for two nights.
BUILDING PERMITS.
Applications for building permits were presented, read and disposed of as follows:
