The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, met in regular session this 34d day of October, 1933, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Council- man Wm. Lammers, Mayor pro tem. presiding until the arrival of Mayor Bangerter. ROLL CALL: Upon Roll Call, there were present City.Clerk.Ci=F: Christian; and Council- men Wm. Lammers, Sr., Jacob Miller, C. P. Aubert, Geo. F. Townsend, Sam McGee, and IV. S. Lafferty; Mayor Geo. Bangerter arriving later in the session. MINUTES READ AND APPROVED: The minutes of the regular session of September 19th, were read and approved as read. Mayor Bangerter arrived during reading of the minutes. BILLS•AND CLAIMS. Approved claims: Bills and Claims, as audited by the Finance Committee and recommended for payment, were presented and read, as follows: Upon the Current Expense Fund, to -wit; The Leader Company Publishing and supplies $ 3.10 Mrs. H: E. Books 14.19 Bellingham Book Bindery Binding 65.66 Total ............................... 80.85 It was moved by Counoilman Lammers and seconded by Councilman Aubert that the said claims be allowed and that the Mayor and Che City Clerk be authorized to draw warrants upon the proper funds in payment of same. Upon Roll Call, all six Councilmen present voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried. Claim of Geo. Willesto£t: The claim of Geo. Willestoft for 10 days services as relief and special patrolman, in the amount of $37.38, was presented and read, and after inquirytaa to the necessity for two days extra time, it was moved by Councilman Townsend and seconded by Councilmen Aubert that the claim be allowed and the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to draw a warrant in payment of same. Upon roll call, all six councilmen present voted i the affirmative and motion was declared carried. Applications for Beverage Licensee. Applications for Beverage Licensee were presented, read, and disposed of as follows: From W. M. Hideout, to -wit: Name and residence of Applicant; W. M. Rideout, 743 Polk Street Location for which license is desired - 720 'hater Street Owner of Building - W. H. Hill and Mrs. H. Landes Kind of License - Retail, to be consumed "Off the premises." It was moved by Councilman Townsend and seconded by Councilman Lafferty that the said license be granted. Motion declared carried. From 1V. R. Muller, to -wit: Name and residence of Applicant - W. R.
