We acknowledge receipt of New Hampshire policy #252558 covering the'Mack pum-
per which is in your service. In going overthisnew policy we find that the collision
is $250.00 deductible. Our requirements are $100.00 deductible and this coverage has bee
furnished in the past.
We shall appreciate your having your insurance agent send us an endorsement chang-
ing the collision to $100.00 deductible.

Petition for Water Pipe; Hastings Avenue:
A petition, signed by 1. T. Thayer, J. J. Lohman, at al, asking that a larger water pip 3
be installed, was presented end read, as follows:
To the Honorable layer and City Council,
Port Townsend, Wash.
We, the undersigned users and prospective users of city water, residing on or near Has
tings Avenue, West of Sheridan Street, respectfully petition your Honorable Body to replac
the small iron pipe with a larger size pipe, to give adequate service to the water users i
that vicinity; the present pipe line being very much too small to serve the present users.

A petition for certain street work, signed by Lotus B. Schultz, at al, was presented
and read, as follows:
To the Mayor and Wembers of the City Council of Port Townsend:
,'Is, the undersigned, request the city to open Holcomb Street between 17th and 19th Ste
(Klasell Hill Road), Eisenbeis Addition.
The only road at present is one way and winding, and being used by four families and
commercial care, make ib unsafe for all.

Analysis of Senate Bill No. 60.
A circular letter prepared by the WASHINGTON STATE TAXPAYERS ASSOCIATION, analyzing
the contents of Chapter 28, Session Laws of 1933 (the Showalter Bill) relative to budgets,
etc., for School Districts, was presented and ordered filed for future reference.
Water Proposal for Coast Guard:
Contract -proposal forms for furnishing the Coast Guard (Base No. 10) with water for the
ensuing Federal fiscal year were presented and rend, and, after some discussion, referred
to the 7later Committee for report at next session, Nn
Water Proposal for Naval Vessels:
Contract -proposal forms from the Puget Sound Naval District for furnishing Naval vea-
sels with fresh water for the encting fiscal year were presented and read and it was moved
by Councilman Lammers and seconded by Councilman Smith that the Wayor and The City Clerk
be authorized to execute a contract for such service at the regular ordained rates.
Motion declared carried.

WHEREAS, the City of Port Townsend has filed application with the United States Govern-
ment under the Act of February 1, 1905, for right of way for a water pipe line from a point

in Sec. 31, T. 27 N., R. 2 W., and extending to a point in Sec. 4, T. 27 N., R. 2 YL,YI.III .,
and

WHEREAS, said application affects lands withdrawn by the Unities States Government for
power site purposes, and

WHE•REAS, the Commissioner of the General Land Office has requested the execution of

certain stipulations affecting the grant of said right-of-way,

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that, in consideration of the grant of said right-off-wajr, that
the City of Port Townsend shall take said grant, as and when made, subjects to the provis-
ions, conditions and limitations of Section 24 of the r'ederal Water Power Act of June 10,
1920. and that the City of Port Townsend agrees that in the event it desires to develop the

potential power of the site will apply for and obtain a license from the Federal
Power Coms;ission, and

Be It Further Resolved that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized
to execute such stipulation on behalf of the City of Port Townsend.
