Christian and Councilmen S. V. Peach, W. S. Lafferty, Wm. Lammers, Sr., and Jacob Miller. Councilmen Clark Aldrich and W, B. Smith arrived later in the session. MINUTES READ AND APPROVED. The minutes of the regular session of December 20th, 1932, were read and approved as read. Aldrich Arrives: Councilman Clark Aldrich arrived at this time and took his seat in the Council. A� I U 321 i Minutes It was moved by Councilmen Peach and seconded by Councilman Lafferty that the said claims be allowed, and that the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to draw warrants upon the proper funds in payment of same. Upon roll call all five Councilmen present voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried. Smith Arrives: Councilman W. B. Smith arrived at this time and thereafter took part in the proceed- ings. INSTALLATION OF NEW OFFICERS AND COUNCILMEN Introduction of newly elected Councilmen was now declared in order. The City Clerk stated that all newly elected Councilmen and city officers had signed and executed the oath of office and exhibit same in proof thereof. Councilman Lammers, Mayor Pro Tem, then requested retiring Councilman S. V. Peach to conduct Councilman Sam McGee to his seat, as Councilman for the Second Ward. Retiring Clark Aldrich was then requested to conduct Geo. F. Townsend, Councilman for the First Ward to his seat. The Mayor then requested Councilman Lafferty to conduct C. P. Aubert, Councilman -at -large, to his seat. The retiring Councilman -at -large, E. M. ""tarrett, not being present. Councilman Wm. Lammers, re-elected as Councilman for the Fourth Ward, was already seated and retained his seat. ELECTION OF MAYOR PRO TEM The election of a Mayor Pro Tem for the ensuing term was now declared in order and Councilman Wm. Lammers was nominated for that position by Councilman Lafferty. Councilman Aubert seconded the nomination and then moved that nominations be closed. This motion being seconded by Councilman Lafferty. Motion declared carried. Lammers elected Mayor Pro Tem:' It was moved by CouncilmanMcGee and seconded by Councilman Lafferty that Councilman Wm. Lammers be declared elected for Mayor Pro Tem. As Councilman Lammers was presiding, Councilman McGee put the question and upon loll call voted, Councilman Lammers was excused from voting. All other six Councilman voted in the affirmative and Councilman Lammers was declared elected.
