The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, met in regular session tb
4th day of October, 1932, at 7:30 ofalock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall,
Councilman Rrm. Lummers,Sr., Mayor Pro Tam, presiding, until the artival, later, of Mayor
Georger Bangerter.
ROLL CALL.
Upon Roll Call there were present City Attorney Jae. W. B. Scott, City Olt
C. F. Christian, and Councilmen W. S. Lafferty, Wm. Lammers, Sr.,. Jacob Miller and E. M.
rett; the remaining Councilmen, Smith, Aldrich and Peach, arriving later in the session.

Bills ordered paid.
It was moved by Councilman Lafferty and seconded by Councilman
Miller that the said claims be allowed and that the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized
to draw warrants upon the proper funds in payment of same. Upon Roll Call, all four Coun
oilmen present voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried.

CITY CLERK.
Assessed Valuation.
The City Clerk reported that he was in receipt of a certified stat -
ment from the County Auditor, that the assessed valuation of the City for 1932, was $1,051, 47.
Salary Warrants Iaeuad.
The City Clerk further reported that he had dssued the regular
salary warrants for the month of September, 1932, under date of October lst, as follows:
