That this Ordinance be published once in the Port.Townsend Leader, and to take effect and be in force on the fourth day of January, 1933. Passed by the City Counoil Sept. 27th, 1932 Approved by the Mayor Sept. 27th, 1932 Attest: George Bangerter, Mayor C. F. Christian, City Clerk. RESOLUTION TO SET TAX LEVY. A resolution to fix the tax levy for the Current Expense Fund for the ensuing fiscal year was presented and read, as follows: RESOLUTI(N . A Resolution to fix the Levy for the Current Lxpense Fund for the Year 1933. RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, that a levy of eighteen k18) mille be made and levied upon and collected from allt:taxable property within the said City, on the assessed valuation for the year 1932, for the Current Expense of sai City for the year 1933. It was moved by Councilman Peach and seconded by Councilman Lammers that the said Or- dinance be adopted. Upon Roll Call, all five Councilmen present voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried. The said resolution was then approved by the Mayor by affixing his signature. ADJOURNMENT. Upon motion of Councilman Lafferty, seconded by Councilmen Lammers, Council adjourned. Attest: gecre ary. Layorr I 1 I 1 333 MINUTES OF STATUTORY (BUDGET) SESSION OF CITY;COUNCIL. OCTOBER 3rd', 1932. Port Townsend, Washington, October 3rd, 1932. The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington, met in Statutory Session,,:• for consideration and adoption of the final budget of the city for 1933 on,this 3rd day of' October, 1932, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, at 7:30 o1clock, Mayor George Bangerter presiding. ROLL CALL. Upon Roll Call there were present Mayor Gem go Bangerter, City Attorney Jae. Vt. B. Scott, City Clerk C. F. Christian, and Councilmen E. M. Starrett, S. V. Peach, W. S. Lafferty and Wm. Lammers, Sr. Aldrich arrives: Councilman Clark Aldrich arrived just following Roll Call and there- after took part in fhe proceedings of the Council. - CONSIDERATION OF BUDGET. Mayor Bangerter announced that in accordance with State Laws, this session is held for consideration of the Final Budget for 1933 and that same was now in order. The CITY COUNCIL then proceeded to consider the said budget in detail and item by item. It was moved by Councilman Starrett and seconded by Councilman Lafferty that the items under department known and "Mayor and City Council" be reduced as follows: "Advertising and Publishing" ....... from $50.00 to $40.00 "Sundry and Miscellaneous" ......... from 25.00 to 15.00 Upon a call for the question, motion was declared carried. No further motions on changes. All other changes and adjustments were unanimously a- greed upon and each and every item was separately and fully. passed upon. BUDGET ADOPTED. It was than moved by Councilman Starrett and seconded by Councilman Lammers that the said budget be adopted as agreed upon, to be followed by Ordinances con- firming same. Upon Roll Call, all five Councilmen present voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried. Following the conclusion of these minutes, is appended a full, true, and correct copy of the said budget, adopted, as above, by the City Council.
