THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT T017NSEND, '11ASHINGTON, met in regular session this ��---- 26th day of July, 1932, at B o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Mayor Ik George Bangerter presiding. Ft ROLL CALL. Upon Roll Call, there were present Mayor George Bangerter, City Attorney Jas.W.B.SCOtt City Clerk C. F. Christian, and Councilmen Jacob Miller, E. M. Starrett, W. S. Lafferty and 17m. Laimners, Sr.; Councilman Smith arriving later in the session. REAu1NG OF MINUTES DEFERRED. It was moved by Councilman Lammers and seconded by Councilman Miller that reading of the minutes of the regular session of July 19th, be deferred to the next regular session of the Council. Motion declared carried. BILLS AND CLAIMS. Report of City Engineer Sadler, on completion of contract. Preliminary to presentation of claims of contractor on Water System Improvements, the i ; � (City Engineer's report continued) can afford to do do. The old waterproofing is gone and the water is deteriorating the con- crete which will be in the same condition as #1 reservoir was before repairs was made. Work.on the pipe lines urns completed in good time but work was delayed on the reservoir on account of the bad inclement weather that we had to contend with and other things which could not be foreseen until uncovered. Coyne for payment of final estimate on contract for Improvements to Water System, and also for payment of re - tained percentage on all estimates not previously paid. After consideration of same and the statement of the City Attorney that he did not believe there would be objection to pay- ing the retAiried percentage at this time, it was moved .by Councilman Smith and seconded by Councilman Lammers that the said claims be allowed and that the Mayor and City Clerk be au - thorized to draw warrants upon the propper funds in payment of same, as follows: Upon the Olypime Gravity Water Fund as appropriated by Ordinance #1010; to -wit: Jas. H. Coyne, Estimate No. 6 Water System Improvements, $ following report or statement of the City Engineer, was presented and read, as follows, to- �` 491.77 Jae. H.
