City Engineer Sadler submitted the following report relative to the cop service pipes installed where new mains have been laid and to new sews laterals under Water Street paving, to -wit: Port Townsend, Washington, May 25th, 1932 To the Mayor and City Council, . Gentlemen:- I herewith submit the cost of all copper services installed on the cast iron pipe installed by Jas. H. Coyne, contractor for Improvements Olympic Gravity Water System on Taylor, Adams, Washington and Lawrence Streets. This completes the list' of copper services and sewer laterals made on Improvements Olympic Gravity Water System on the three contracts let and are as follows:- #1 - Sewer Laterals, Harrison St. to :Nest side Tyler St. on Water Street, Jones & Crouten contract, 2/19/30 #2 - Copper Water Services Walker to the West sideTTyler St., Jones & Crouten contract, 2/19/30 #3 - Copper Services Went side Tyler to Monroe Street on Water Street, Jas. H. Coyne con- tract #1, 3/20/31 #4 - Copper Services Taylor Street, Water to Washington Streets It it Adams Street, Water to Washington Streets It It Washington Street, Adams to Taylor Streets, Jas. H. Coyne Contract No. 2, 10/5/31. Copies of these have been furnished the Water Superintendent's Office copper water ser- vice have been made showing location of all sewer laterals and vice connections on all cast iron pipe laid under these contracts. REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES. ON ROTHSCHILD BUILDING. Report on the Application of Miss Emilie A. Rothschild for Building Permit was present and read, at follows: Port Townsend, Washington, May 18, 1932 To the Honorable Mayor and City Council of the City of Port Townsend. Gentlemen: - Your Committee, on Buildings and Misc., together with the Building Inspector and Fire Chief, to whom was referreddthe matter of Application of Miss Emilie A. Rothschild for permit to repair the building occupied by Frye & Company on Water Street, damaged by fire, would respectfully report as follows: We recommend that the said application be denied as being contrary to the ordinances of the city. Sadler, City Building Inspector It was moved by Councilman Miller and seconded by Councilman Starrett that the sa6d re port be adopted. Upon roll call, all five councilmen present voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried.
