(Interest coupon resolution continued)

Whereas, it is the best judgment of the City Council and now advisable to have printed
issued and authorized to bevsignbdeadd executed by the Mayor and City Clerk, forty-nine
(49) interest bearing coupons, numbered forty-two (42), in the sum of twenty-seven dollars
and fifty cents ($27.50) each, payable on the first day of July,1932; and also have prints

Now, Therefore, be it
Resolved by the City Council, and it is hereby ordered, that forty-nine (49) interest
bearing coupons, numbered forty-two (42), be issued in the sum of twenty-seven dollars and
fifty cents ($27.50) each, payable July first, 1932, as the semi -annuls interest due on
said bonds on that date, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to sign and execute said coupons; and that also have printed forty-nine (49) interest bear-
ing coupons, numbered forty-three (43), payable on the first day of January, 1933, in the
sum of twenty-seven dollars and fifty cents ($27.50) each, as the semi-annual interest due
on said bonds on that date, and the mayor and City Clerk sign and execute same when so or-
dered by the City Council; and be it further
Resolved and ordered that all of such interest bearing coupons be issued and executed
in the same form as set forth in said Ordinance No. 1015, except number and date of pay-
ment, and that the Fiscal Agency of the State of Washington, At the City of New York, is
hereby authorized to pay such interest and cancel such coupons as provided by said Ordi-

mailed to said Fiscal Agency.

It was moved by Councilman Lammers and seconded by Councilman Lafferty that the said
resolution be adopted. Upon roll call, all six Councilmen present voted in the affirms-
tive and motion was declared carried.
UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS.
FIRE TRUCK INSURANCE TO PRAGGE.
Bringing up the matter of Insurance on the Mack Fire Truck, Councilman Smith moved
that
the insurance be awarded to Chas. APragge and the policytendered b Mr. gBe
in amount of $7500 be accepted. Motion was duly seconded by Councilman Lafferty and upon a
call for the question and roll call, all six councilmen present voted in the affirmative ane
motion was declared carried.
WATER BIDS FOR FEDERAL DEPARTMENTS.
The U.S. Marine Hospital and U.S. Coast Guard, Base #10, submitted blank forms for bids
from the city for supplying these departments with water for the fiscal year beginning July
let, 1932, and it was moved by Councilman Smith and seconded by Councilman Lammers that the
Mayor be authorized to submit bide at the regular rates now in force. Upon roll call, all
six councilmen present voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried.
Dance Complaint- Councilman Starrett brought up the matter of complaint relative t
conduct o pu c ances and Mayor Bangerter stated that he had no report to make.
RECESS. It was moved by Councilman Starrett and seconded by Councilman Lafferty th
the Council recess for 15 minutes. Motion carried and recess declared.

CIRCUS LICENSES. Reporting on the petition to increase the licenses for circusees
and simi Tar amusements, Councilman Starrett stated that this matter would be taken care of
in the proposed Ordinance relating to amusement and business licenses, etc. and it was re-
ferred to the committee on Police and License, and the City Attorney.

7th day of June, 1932, at 8 P.M., in the Uouncil Chambers of the City Hall, Mayor George
Bangerter presiding.
ROLL CALL
Upon Roll Call there were present Mayor George Bangerter, City Attorney Jas.W.B.Scott,
City Clerk C. F. Christian and Councilmen 111. S. Lafferty, Wm. Lammers Sr., Jacob Miller
and E. M. Starrett. Councilman Clark Aldrich arrived during reading of the minutes and
thereafter took part in the council procedings.
