Clay Street between the West line of Clallam Street and the inner harbor line; East Front Street between the South line of Lawrence Street and the inner harbor line; This petition is filed for the express purpose of seeking a correction of certain manifest errors appearing in that certain Ordinance of the City of Port Townsend passed by the City Council August 20th, 1929, approved by the Mayor August 20th, 1929, being No.980. It was moved by Councilman Lafferty and seconded by Councilman Lammers that said requisitions be granted. Motion declared carried. NEW BUSINESS. Bids for Wood. Pursuant to order of the City Council and published call for bids for supply n�=y with six cords of wood, proposals to furnish the said six cords of wood were now opened and read, as follows: From A. H. Ywarsky, to -wit: Port Townsend, Wash., Feb. 1, 1932 To City of Port Townsend; This bid is submitted in accordance with call for bids in Port Townsend Leader adver- tiserpent. Old gaowth fir wood delivered in four foot lemgths and cut in twelve inch lengths at City Hall, at Six Dollars and Fifty cents per cord. ($6.50) Signed; Olympic Transfer, A. 11. Ywarsky, Prop. City. It was moved by Councilman Lammers and seconded by Councilman Smith that the contra for furnishing the said six cords of wood be awarded to Chas. J. Nelson. ;lotion declared carried. R E C ESS. It was moved by Councilman Lammers and seconded by Councilman Lafferty that the Counc recess for fifteen minutes, llotion carried and recess declared. COUNCIL RE -CONVENES AT 9:10 P.M. City Council re -convened at 9:10 P.M. and upon roll call there were present Mayor Goo Bangerter, City Clerk C. F. Christian, and Councilmen W. B. Smith, V.I. S. Lafferty, William Lammers Sr., E. M. Starrett and Clark Aldrich. New Business continued. Gasoline contract it was moved by Councilman Lammers and seconded by Councilmm Lafferty that the award of contract for gasoline and motor oils be laid over to the next regular session of the City Council. Motion declared carried. Liquid Chlprine Contract. It was moved by Councilman Lammers and seconded by Councilman Smith that the contract fpr Liquid Chlorine submitted by the Tacoma Electrochemical Company, as qualified by thef 1 0 0 e 245 inued fetter of January 18th, guaranteeing a maximum price of 91's cents during the life of the contract, be accepted, and that the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to execute the said contract. Motion declared carried. Date of Street Vacation hearing. In the matter of the hearing for the proposed street vacation, it was moved by Councilman Starrett and seconded by Councilman Lammers, that the date for the hearing.of the petition for the vacation of certain parts of streets as requested by Jefferson County be set for the regular session of Ilarch lot, 1932, and that the City Clerk be instructed to'give due notice as required by law. Motion declared carried. Attendance necord. It visa moved by Councilman Starrett and seconded by Councilman Aldrich a e City -Clerk be instructed to prepare an attendance record of the Officers and Councilmen for the past year and present same at the next regular session.
