The tyCf Clerk reported that he was in receipt of the regular Annual Report Blanks, which had boon
forwarded from the State Auditor's office, with form letter of advice.
UNIFORM STREET SIGNS.
A communication from the State Director of Hiehwaye relative to uniform standards for Street and
Highway signs, was presented and rend as follower -

Port Townsend, Washington.
Gentlemen: -
In pursuance of the provisions of Chapter 118, Laws of 1931, the Director of Highways has adopted
and designated a uniform standard for the construction, creation and location of all signs, Signals, sign-
boards, and guide posts, created on the public highways of the State of Washington, that will furnish infor-
mation to travelers regarding traffic re6ulations, directions, distances, and points of danger, has prepared
plans and specifications of the authorised standard signs, signals, signboards, and guide posts, designated
suitable inscriptions theroon, and has specified the materials, colors and designs that shall be used in the
construction thereof.
For your guidance there is sent you herewith a blue print showing all of the above referred to
signs and specifications.

REQUISITIONS.
Requisitions for supplies were presented, read, and disposed of as follows,
For City Prater Department to -wit:

3 special castings for fire hydrants
2 automobile tires for truck
It was moved by Councilman Smith and seconded by Councilman Lafferty that the said requisiticc be gran-
ted. Upon roll call, all four councilmen present voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried.

To Salvage Valves etc.

of the Water Department, o an vase and gather up all valves, tees and other fittings of value, now on mains
that have been abandoned and to clean and store same -for future use. Motion declared carried.
Some discussion followed relative to salvaging the steel pipe on the old Snow Crook linebut no.
action was taken at this session.
ADJOURNMENT.
Upon motion of Councilman Smith, seconded by Councilman Lafferty, Council adjourned.
