It was moved by Councilman Lafferty and seconded by Councilman Lammers that the said requisitions be
granted. Upon roll call, all five Councilmen present voted in the affirmative and motion was declared car-
ried.
ALDRICH ARRIVES: Councilman Clark Aldrich arrived and took his seat just before question was called on
the above me on an voted on the said gnesbion.

It was moved by Councilman Lammers and seconded by Councilman Smith that the Council recess for a few
minutes. Motion carried and recess declared.
COUNCIL RECONVENES.
Council reconvened at 8:20 o'clock P.M., Mayor George Bangerter presiding, and upon roll call there vier

Mn or makes statement. Prior to opening bids for certain improvements to the city water system, the
Mayor sated to n oaring the said bids, contractors who would employ 100% local labor and pay a min-
imum wage of 34.00 per day would be considered the best bidders.
OPENING BI➢S FOR INFROVEMENTS TO OLYMPIC GRAVITY WATER SYSTEM.
This being the time set for opening bids for "Improvements to Olympic Gravity Water System," the same
was declared to be in order and the City Clerk procoded with the opening and reading of all of the bids sub-
mitted, as follows:

These bids were opened and read, item by item, in the order recorded above and upon completion of the
