To the Honorable Mayor and City Council Port Townsend, Wash., May 27, 1931
of the City of Port Townsend, Washington.
Gentlemenr
We, your petitioners, respectfully represent that we are residents of the City of Port Townsend;
that we are consumers of city water, the service furnished being through a one -inch pipe. Such service is
insufficient and most annoying to the eight or nine families that are boing supplied by it, and has become
intolerable, and we ask that the city lay a pipe large enough to supply ample water for all dwellings, for
protection against fire and that a fire hydrant be installed. The location of the pipe to be on 22nd Street
extended from the intersection of 22nd and Hainan Streets West to moat the requirements of those having dwel-
lings in that vicinity
