Minutes of Juno 8/31 continued.
CLAY*SCOTT STREET WATER PIPE RENEWAL.
Order to install pipe line on Clay and Scott Streets;
Bringing up the matter of replacing the water main on Scott and Clay Streets, it was moved by Counoilma
Lammers and seconded by Councilman Smith that the Water Superintendent be instructed to put in the said pipe
on Clay and Scott Streets, in accordance with the report adopted by the City Council at the regular session
held on May 19, 1931. Upon roll call, Councilmen Smith, Lafferty, Lammers, Miller and Starrett voted in
the affirmative and Councilman Peach was excused from voting. , Motion declared carried.
RECESS.
It was moved by Councilman Peach and seconded by Councilman Smith that the Council recess for five
minutes. Motion carried and recess declared, '
COUNCIL RE -CONVENES. and ROLL CALL.
Council re-oonvened at 30:30 P.M. and upon roll call there were present Mayor George Bangerter, City
Attorney Jae. W. B. Scott, City Clerk C. F. Christian, and Councilman 1Y. B. Smith, W. S. Lafferty, William
Lammers Sr., Jacob Miller, E. M. Starrett and S. V. Peach.
ADJOURNMENT.
Upon motion of Councilman Peach, seconded by Councilman Smith, Council adjourned.

Councilman Smith arrives, Councilman W. B. Smith arrived at this time and took his chair.
Indebtedness Warrants oanoelleds The City Clerk reported that City Treasurer Dobbs had redeemed ten Old
Indebtedness Warrants of 126.00 each and had effected a saving of $10.00 interest on each warrant. Also
that funds were on hand to redeem the next two lowest numbers.
City Engineer.
Old Valves Used. The City Engineer submitted e,a:written report relative to old air valves used in new
construction, as followes

Gentlemen:
I am using three Crispin Air Valves taken from the old Snow Crook line for use on the new line from
the city limits to the reservoir.

It is necessary that each of these valves be provided with as auxiliary valve and a tapping nipple.
A requisition for the above material accompanies this letter.

Insurance on Motor vehicles. In the matter of insuring the City's motor vehicles, the City Clerk raper
tad the but two proposals ha been submitted] all other Insurance Representatives desiring more information
as to the kind of insurance desired before submitting a proposal. After some discussion as to the covers&
.docired by the City Council, the City Clerk volunteered to present the matter to the several Insurance Agent
of the city and ask for proposals and it was so ordered.
