REQUISITIONS.
Requisition was presented by the Police Dept. for the following supplies,
School Traffic Signs for Blaine Street at Harrison and Van Buren Streets.
It was moved by Councilman Peach and seconded by Councilman Millar that said requisition be granted.
Motion declared carried. _
Blaine Street Propoe¢1 Ao ceptod. Taking up the proposal of Jag. H. Coyne to do certain work opening
up Blaine rent betvioen Fiarr eon and Van Buren Streets for the lump gum of $240.00, it was moved by Coun-
cilman Peach and seconded by Councilman Miller thut the estimate and proposal of Jas. H. Coyne for the im-
provement of Blaine Street be accepted and the work ordered done. Upon roll call, all five Councilmen
present voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried.
RECESS.
It was moved by Councilman Peach and seconded by Councilman MS ller that the Council recess for tan
minutes. Motion carried and recess declared.
Aldrich arrives. Councilman Aldrich arrived in the Council Chamber just as rocess was declared.
COUNCIL RECONVENES.
The City Council reconvened at 8:30 P.4., and upon roll call there were present City Attorney Jas. IV.
Scott, City Clerk C. F. Christian, and Councilman YBn. Lammers Sr., Jacob Miller, E. M. Starrett, Clark A1-
drioh, S. V. Peach and Vt. B. Smith.
Unfinished and Now Business.
Contract awarded Coyne.
Taking up the matter of proposals for construction of water mains, it was moved by Councilman Peach and
seconded by Councilman Smith that the bid of Jae. 11. Coyne for constructing the said water mine from the
city limits to the reservoirs be accepted and that the Mayor and the City Clark be authorized to execute a
contract with Mr. Coyne as soon as funds from the State of Washington from the sale of General Indebtedness
Water Bonds were in the hands of the City Treasurer, and that the certified checks of all bidders except the
of'James H. Coyne, be released and returned to them. Upon roll call, all six councilmen present voted
in the affirmative and motion visa declared carried
ADJOURNMENT.
Upon motion of Councilman Pesch, seconded by Councilman Aldrich, Council adjourned.
