Minutes of regular session of April �l,1930.

The City Council of the City of Port Towneend, Washington, met in regular.seasion this
15th day of April, 1930, at 7:30 P. M. in the Counoil Chambers of.the City Hall. O%Moilman Wm.
Lammers, Mayor Pro Tom presiding.
ROLL CALL
Upon roll call there were present City Clerk C. F.Chriatian, City Attorney James W. B.
Scott, and Councilmen William Lammers, Jacob Miller, Clark Aldrich, S.V. Peach, W. B. Smith and.R.
E. Richards. Mayor George Bangerter and Councilman Harry W.Robbins arrived soon after roll call
and were marked present.
MINUTES ADOPTED
It was moved by Councilman Peach and seconded by Councilman Smith that:the minutes of the
session of April let be adopted as written. Motion carried.
REPORTS OF OFFICERS
City Clerk:
.The City Clerk reported that he had addressed the Puget Sound Power & Light Company as
follows:

Gentlemen:
The City Council has directed me to request that you install a new street light at the
intersection of Madison and Cosgrove Streets (Morgan Hill), with a lamp of the standard size used
in the residence district; all in accordance with the street lighting contract.
Please acknowledge receipt of this communication.

City Treasurer's Report:
The report of the City Treasurer for the month ending March 31st was presented, read and
referred to the Finance Committee.
Water Surperintendent's Report:
The report of the Water Superintendent for the month ending March 31st was read and re-
ferred to the Water Committee.
Report of Mayor:
Mayor Bangerter reported thathehad visited the City Park and found everything,in;eplen-
did condition, also that he had secured a list of equipment.
Inventories:
The City Clerk reported that the Street Superintendent and the City Engineer had each sub-
mitted an inventory of stock and equipment in their respective departments, and the same were orders
filed.
Meter Readings:
The City Engineer presented reports of the weekly flow of water through the main lines m6-
ter and said reports were ordered filed.
REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES
Fire and Light Committee: I
Councilman Peach, Chairman of the Fire and Light Committee reported that a fire hydrant
was needed at the intersection of Sheridan and Lawrence Streets.
BUILDING PER14ITS
Application for building permits were presented, read and disposed of as follows:
