A communication from St. John's Hospital was presented mid read as follows:

request the honor of the presence of yourab3f, ladies and friends
at the Opening of their New Fireproof Annex from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M.
Wednesday, December the eleventh nineteen hundred twenty-nine.
It was moved by Councilman Smith and seconded by Councilman Lammers that the invitation
be accepted and that as many attend as possible. Motion -declared carried.

Acting City Attorney J. Daly, Jr. brought up the matter of a recent act of the
legislature relative to foreclosure of Delinquent Local Improvement District assessments, and ex-

plainbd its possible bearing on the future sale of Local Improvement District Bonds.

It was moved by Councilman Miller and seconded by Councilman Peach that the requisition

The city council of the city of Port Townsend met in regular session this 17th day of
December, 1929, at the hour of.7:30'P. M. in the Council Chambers of the city hall, Mayor George
Bangerter, presiding.
ROLL CALL'
Upon roll gall, there were present Mayor George Bangerter, City Clerk C. F. Christian,
City Attorney JaaJ'.WYuBi:Sdot and Acting City Attorney, W. J. Daly, Jr., and Councilmen S. V. Pei
Wm. Lammers, Jacob Miller and Harry W. Robbins. Councilman W. B. Smith arrived during reading of
the minutes.

The minutes of the regular session of December loth were read and approved as read.

Comes now'said administrators and present this, their claim against the above named defen-
dants, City of Port,Townsend, a municipal corporation of the third class, and Ben Green, individuall
and as'Water'Superintendent of said city, in the sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars, (,$30,000.00), for
and upon account of the death of George McCullem, minor son of claimants, and sbt forth as follows:

That P. J. McCullem and Marie McCullem are the parents of George McCullem, deceased. That
by order of the Superior Court of Jefferson County, Nashington, said claimants were on the 12th day
of December, 1929, appointed Administrators of the estate of George McCullem, deceased, and they
ever since have been, and they now are, the duly appointed, qualified and acting Administrators of
said estate. That said deceased has no wife of child or direct heir other than his parents, in this
petition named.

That the said P. J. McCullem and Marie McCullem new are, and they continuously have been
for more than ten years last past, residents of the city of Port Townsend, and for more than six
months last past said claimants and administrators have continuously resided on the property known
as the Butler Home, more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at1the.5. E. corner of Broadway Addition, thence "esterly along South
line of Addition 346.4 feet, thence S. O degrees, 13' E. 922 feet to intersect North
line of Hunts Addition produced-basterly, thence Westorly 114 feet to the N. E. Corner
of Hunts Addition, (N. E. corner Tax No. 54), thence South along line of Hunts Add.
546.48 feet to point on Northerly line of "E" Street, thence Northerly along the Wes-
terly line of B. F. Pettygroves Add. 205.48 feet to the N. IV. corner thereof; thence
Easterly along the Northerly line of G. Street 426.7 feet, thence N. 0 degrees 13 '
West 1300 feet to place of beginning..

That said claimants are the legal representatives of said George McCullem, deceased.
