It,was moved by Councilman Robbins and seconded by "ouncilman Peach that said requisitio
be granted. Motion carried.
For Fire Department, to -wit:
Fire and Collision ($100.00 deductible) Insurance for New Fire Truck.
It was moved by Councilman Peach and seconded by Councilman "math that the Mayor and `'it
Clerk be authorized to place fire and collision ihsurance on the new Mack Noire Truck up to 80 per can
of its value on the lowest and beet terms. Upon roll call, Councilman Lammers, Miller, Robbins and
Smith voted in the affirmative and Councilman Aldrich was excused from voting. Motion declared
carried.
To send bill to truck company:
It was then moved by Councilman Robbins and seconded by Councilman Aldrich that after the
said insurance is purchased that the bill for the premium on same be sent to the Mack -International
Truck Uor oration. Upon roll call, Councilman Robbins and Councilman Aldrich voted in the affirma-
tive and Councilman Lammers, Miller, Peach and omith voted in the negative and motion was declared

Sale of old Hose Wagon:
At the request of the fire department, the city clerk brought up the matter of the dis-
posal of the old Ford Fire Truck and asked for instructions. It was movdd by Councilman Lammers
and seconded by Councilman Miller that the City Clerk be instructed to advertize the said truck for
sale according to usual proceedings, bids to be opened at the regular session of December 3rd. Upon
roll call, all six Councilmen present voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried.
Office of Mayor Pro Tem:
It was moved by Councilman Peach and seconded by Councilman Lamners that the office of
mayor pro tam be declared vacant. Upon roll call, Uouncilmen Lammers, Miller, Robbins, Peach and
'pith voted in the affirmative and Councilman Aldrich in the negative. Motion declared carried.
Nominations to the cffice of Mayor Pro rem:
Councilman Lammers nominated Councilman w. B. Smith and the nomination was seconded by
Councilman Peach. Councilman Smith nominated Wm. Lammers, the said nomination being seconded by
Councilman Robbins. it was 'moved by Councilman Robbins and seconded by Councilman Miller that nom-
inations be closed. Motion carried. The Mayor appointed Councilman reach and Councilman Robbins
as tellers and upon account of the ballot, the tally was found to be as follows: Councilman W. B.
Smith, two votes, and Councilman An. Lammers, four votes. Mayor Bangerter thereupon declared Coun-
cilman Wm. Lammers elected to the office of Mayor rro Tem.
RETURN TO COMMUNICATIONS
Upon the request of Councilman Peach, return was made to order of business of communica-
tions, and an additional proposal to furnish insurance on the now Mack Fire Truck was submitted by
Charles A. Pragge as follows:

RETURN TO NEW BUSINESS
To draw Emerecnov Ordinance:
It was moved by Councilman Peach and seconded by Councilman Robbins that the City
Attorney be instructed to draw up an emergency ordinance for presentation to the council, to cover
the increased insurance on the new Mack Fire Truck. Upon roll call, all six councilmen present
.voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried.
Pipe Line Right -of -Way:
Councilman Robbins brought up the matter of Pipe Line right-of-way across property
owned by Mr. J'dwards, and the matter was referred to the water Committee.
Slashing around screen chamber:
Councilman Lamners brought up the matter of slashing brush around the screen chamber
building, as requested by the National paper Products' Company, stating that he had examined the
premises and recommended that the work be done. yt was then moved by Councilman Lammers and seeonde
by councilman Peach that the city have the brush slashed and burned around the screen chamber build-
ing, the work to be done under the supervision of the Uity Engineer. Upon roll call, all six coun-
cilmen voted in the affirmative and motion was declared carried.
Purchase of Gravel Lots:
Councilman Lammers brought up the matter of the purchase of the gravel pit for the
city had applied for, stating that'someone •should look after the matter when the property came up
for sale on November 23rd.
Claim of Mrs. Priest:
Councilman Lammers brought up the matter of the claim of Mrs. Priest, stating that he
believed that a refund should be made if she had received no water as claimed. The matter was re-
ferred to the water committee.
Consideration of Ordinances:
Councilman Lammers reminded the council that four proposed ordinances had been pre-
sented to the council for consideration and that the council should get together in the immediate
future for a detailed consideration of same. All of the councilmen present agreed that it should
be done, and Friday evening of this week was set as a tehtative date.
ADJOURNMENT
Upon motion of councilman peach, seconded by Councilman Robbins, council adjourned.
