at an estimated cost of $150.00. Garage will be set back at least three feet from the street line.

Dear Sirs:
I, G. F. McGrew, request that the city furnish me with water at my houses on Blocks
30 and 40 of the'California Addition to the City of Port Townsend.
If you are unable to do this, I further request that you grant me permission to lay my
own pipes in all streets necessary to bring the water from the nearest point of'the city main, these
same pipes to remain my property.
I further request that you vacate to me that portion of Kuhn Street between 55th and
57th Streets, also 56th Street from Lawrence Street east.

Dear Mr. Christian:
We are in receipt of your letter of the 8th and wish to advise that we require only fire, theft, and
at least $100 deductable collision on the equipment sold to the City. The amount should cover the
unpaid balance, which is 415,339.
The policy should be made out "Mack -International motor Truck Corporation and/or City of Port Town-
send .
We shall appreciate your getting this poliey,,for us as soon as possible as the sale of this equip-
ment has been completed for a considerable time and we should have had the insurance polictrybefore
this time.

Insurance Proposals:
The proposals to furnish insurance on the new fire truck were next presented and read,
as follows:

Gentlemen:
On the new Fire truck I can write $12,000. insurance covering damage by fire and
lightning at an annual rate of $6035 per *100. Premium for 412,000. being 472.42. This to be in
Milwaukee Mechanics Insurance Co., a member of the Neal Bassett group of Fire Insurance Companies,
having total assets in excess of One Hundred Millions of dollars. None of my companies will write
Collision insurance on this risk, which coverage seems to be excluded by all the companies. An

ratus while in operation at a fire.
