REPORTS OF OFFICERS
City Engineer:
City Engineer Sadler presented the following report:
October 5, 1929
To the Mayor and City Council
Gentlemen.
I herewith submit plan and estimate for a building over the screen chamber at City Lake.
The plan shows a building of wood frame construction covered with No. 26 Galvanized cor-
rugated iron. this would be a more permanent structure than built entirely of wood, and would not
need to be painted for about four years.
The building allows ample head room inside for handling the screens and the four windows
would give sufficient light.
The stimated cost of this building complete is 4460.00. The same building entirely of
wood construction would be'$390.00.
The same plan can be used for either building. T think it would be advisable to call for
bids on this work complete.
Awaiting your further instructions,
Yours very truly,
WJS:OFP W. J. Sadler, Engineer
Said report was referred to the V+ater Committee.
