G1asdCdrd was presented and read. is follows: Mountain View Port Townsend, Washington Qugust 22nd,'1929 To the Honorable Mayor and City Council, Port Townsend, Washington. Gentlemen: It is observed there is a small water flow over the cliff at the edge of "C" Street. This stream is small but spreads into a spray which the wind often carries to the cliff wall and so saturates its sur£act, thereby loosening the exposed material which falls away little by little. I£ all the water coming into the bos eorl 6th and "C" Streets could be diverted down "C" Street toward the park the overflow would be avoided. Such diversion could, it is believed be made by stopping the outlet on and at the lower or southeast side of the box. I will thank you to do what is advisable as soon as practicable for it would be a source of satisfaction to see that this stream has ceased flowing before I leave which will be about September 15th. Such stoppabe will present further damage of the property. Very respectfully Wm! A. Glahafoid Said communication. was referred to the Water Committee. From W. J. Sadler, City Engineer. -.
