To Frost proof air valves:
It was moved by councilman Robbins and seconded by councilman Miller that Mr. Hose
Superintendent of the pipe line patrol, proceed with the frost proofing of the air valves on the
line,under City Engineer Sadler`s instructions. Upon roll call, all five councilmen present voted i
the affirmative and motion was declared carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Upon motion of councilman Robbins, seconded by Councilman Miller, Council adjourned.

The city Council of the city of Port 'Townsend, Washington, met in regular session this
16th day of July, 1929, at 8 P. M., in the Council Chambers of the city Hall, Mayor Bangerter pre-
siding.
ROLL CALL
Upon roll call, there were present Mayor George Bangerter, City Clerk C. F. Christian,
Deputy City Attorney, 'W. J. Daly, Jr., and Councilmen Edward Quenell, William Lammers, Jacob Miller,
Harry W. Robbins, Clark Aldrich and S. V. Peach. Councilman W. H. Smith arrived during reading of
the minutes.
READING OF MINUTES
The minutes of the regular session of July 2nd, were read and approved as read.
REPORTS OF OFFICERS
City Clerk:
The city clerk reported that he had issued a warrant to games H. Coyne under date of
July 10, in the amount of $2,747.67, in final, payment of City Lake Contract as per order of the
council.
City Treasurer:
The report of the city Treasurer for the month ending June 30th, was presented, read and
referred to the Finance Committee.
Water Superintendent:
The report of the Water Superintendent for the month of May, 1929, was presented, read and
referred to the Water Uommittee.
City Engineer:
City Engineer Sadler presented the following written reports
A - Relative to Meters:

Gentlemen:
The meters that were ordered from R. W. Sperling, Los Angeles, California were to be
shipped July 13th. I have not received invoice to date.

B - Relative to Improvement District:
July 16, 1929
To the Mayor and City Council
Gentlemen:
I have completed the necessary field work on the proposed local improvement district on
Water Street and connecting streets, but have not worked up the estimate yet.
I have also done part of the field work for establishing grades between Lawrence and
Roosevelt Streets on Taylor Street, but need more data. Vfhen this is completed will prepare
Profile and Ordinance to establish same.
