I, C. F. Christian, being first duly sworn on oath, deposes and says, that I am
the regularly elected, qualified and acting City Clerk of the City of Port Townsend, Jefferson
county, Washington,•that on the 13 day of May, 1929, I posted four notices, the annexed of which
is a fill, true and correct, in four public places in the City of Port Townsend, to -wit: one ata�
the front of the Jefferson county courthouse; one at the front door of the city hall; one at the
corner of Taylor and Washington streets and one on the premises described in said notice.

Mayor Bangerter stated that if anyone objected to the vacation of said portion of+
street' they would now be heard. No objections being offered, an ordinance entitled, ��An Ordinance
of the City of Port Townsend Vacating a portion of a street in Johnston'a Addition in Said City",
was presented and read in full for the first reading. It was moved by Councilman Peach and seconded } ,4setljr

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND DO ORDAIN as follows:

Section 1. That portion of 29th street, as abandoned, in front of lots four (4) `
and five (5) of Block seven (7) of Johnston's Addition to the City of Port Townsend, to the north a
side of 28th street as now located and established, be, and the same is hereby vacated..
Section 2. That this ordinance be published once in the Port Townsend Leader and
to take effect and be in force five days from and after such publication.

ROLL CALL
Upon roll call, there were present Mayor George Bangerter, City Clerk C. F. Christian,
acting City Attorney. We J. Daly and Councilmen Peach, Quenell, Lammers Miller, Robbins and Aldrich.
REQUISITION
Water Extension Construction Fund
A requisition for supplies for the Big quilcene, River Supply Line was presented and read
as follows:
2 Large Fibre Brooms (To be purchased by G. A. Rose)
50 Lineal feet 22" Eureka Label Underwriter's Double Jacket Fire, Hose, approximately 72X per
1 2-" Eureka Play Pipe without handles and with 5/8" tip approximately 49.00
1 ,preading Nozzle No. 616, Catalogue No. 6 to attach to play ipe, approximately 45.00.
The fire hose play pipe and nozzle to be delivered to G. A. Rose, Port Townsend,
Washington.
It was moved by "ouneilman Quenell and seconded by Councilman 11ammers that the requisition
be granted. Motion declared carried.
Extension granted James H. Coyne
In relation to the letter from Baer and Cunningham requesting that additional extention be
granted James H. Coyne, Contractor, for the work at the Uity Lake, it as moved by Councilman
Quenell and seconded by Councilman Miller that an extension of ten days time be granted. Upon roll
call, all six coundilmen present voted in favor thereof, and motion was declared carried.
Title to Right -of -Way
In relation to the communications from Attorney W. J. Daly, jr , fron Donworth, Todd and
Holman and from S. W. Peach and Sons, relative to the title to the pip -line right-of-way, which
was referred to the Water Committee at the last session of the council Mayor Bangerter referred
the same to a Special Committee, consisting of Uouncilmen Quenell and ldrieh,.and noting attorney
W. J. Daly, Jr., to take up the matter rith the National Paper Product ompany.
