Please withdraw the request for a permit dated May 4th, 1929, for a lattice fence on Lot
6, Block 41, Original Townsite, Port Townsend.
We desire to change our application for a permit for i fence eight feet in heighth, mater-
ial to be galvanized wire of nine gauge thickness. Otherwise repairs to be as outlined in
request of May 4th,'1929.

You are hereby petitioned to fill the street in front of our premises on Adams Street to
bring same up to grade, as we have no access to our property at present.

It was moved by Councilman Robbins and seconded by Councilman Peach that the City make a
temporary fill in front of the Port Townsend Mortuary until the rest of the strept is improved.
Motion carried.
Proposal to furnish Fresh Water:
Form of proposalsto furnish fresh water to the U. S. Goast Guard recreation rooms and to
the Coast Guard boats weaepresented and read. It was moved by Bouncilman Quenell and seconded
by Councilman Lammers that the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to enter into contracts
to furnish fresh water as per proposals at existing rates. Upon roll call all six councilmen
present voted' in favor thereof and motion was declared carried.
