From W. J. Sadler, City Engineer.
The communication from W. J. Sadler, City Engineer, was presented and read
as follows:
"To the Mayor h City Council.
Gentlemen;
Mr. Green had drained the small reservoir and reports several leaks.
I went up with him and made an examination and recommend that he clean these
spots off and patch them up with some cement mortar, let them dry and give them a coat of Asphalt
and cover with burlap and another coat of Asphalt.
This will be a temporary repair only. The south-west corner of the reservoir
be repaired and thw whole interior relined this could be done with wire mesh and guniting same.
This would be cheaper and not out down the capacity of the reservoir as much
as relining it with 4" of concrete.
Yours truly,
WRS/RV W. J. Sadler City Bngineer. "
