It was moved by Councilman Quene , seconded by Councilman Robbins that the Council recess for
fifteen minutes. Motion carried, and recess declared.

Schoonwerk letter again read.
Upon request, the letter from Mr. Schoenwerk was again road and the City Clerk was instructed
to notify Mr. Schoenwark that the City Council had taken up the City Lake proposition under a new
plan which it was hoped would be satisfactory to him.

Big Quilcene River Water Supply Line from the City Limits to the reservoir along one or more routes,
prepare complete plans and specifications for the proposed supply line into City Lake and a.screen-
ing device as suggested by the National Paper Products Company and supervise the construction of the
work at City Lake and render such other services as may be required on the main supply line until
July 1st, 1929.
It is understood that this work is to be done in co-operation with Mr. Sadler and we agre
to accept in full compensation therefor the amount of $6,522.85 as per attached statement in full
settlement of all accounts heretofore incurred and to be incurred for engineering services until Ju-
ly 1st, 1929.

It was moved by C'dutacllman Quenell and seconded by Councilman Loamnere that the said proposal
of Baer and Cunningham be accepted as read. Upon roll call, Councilmen Robbins, Peach, Quenell,
Lammers and Miller voted in the affirmative and Councilman Aldrich in the negative. Motion declare
carried.
Price of Gravel.
Councilman Robbins brought up the matter of the price of gravel as charged by the City at the
City gravel pits and moved, seconded by Councilman Peach that the price of gravel at the Dundoe Pit
be changed from $1.00 per load to 25� per yard. After some discussion, the motion was withdrawn.
PLANS FOR LAKE PIPE, AND SCREEN TO BE PREPARED.
It was moved by Councilman Quenell, seconded by Councilman Peach, that Mr. Bear, in eonjunotioi
with Mr. Sadler, prepare plans for the proposed 30 inch line into the City Lake, together with scree:
ing device as outlined by the stational Paper Products Company and present same to the City Council,
Tuesday night, March 12th, 1929. Motion carried.
Street Committee to appear before Commissioners.
It was moved by Councilman Quenell and seconded by Councilman Miller that the Street Committee
appear before the Board of Count* Commissioners to prot0at against the sale of gravel on the County
property in the Pettygrove Addition. Motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT.
