City Engineer W.J.Sadler presented a written report covering the proposed water main on 3rd
Street and other matters which was read as follows, to -wit: Port Townsend, Wash., Feb. 26, 1929
To the Mayor and City Council,
Gentlemen:
As per your instructions of February 19th, 1929, I have located the N. E. Corner of Block
43, Dundee Addition which is also the S. W. corner of 31st St., and Sheridan Ave.
The extension of Roosevelt St. through Lots 11 and 12, Block 19 Plummers Addition has been
staked out. The full width of Walker St. -from Lawrence. to Lincoln St. in the Estate Addition has
been staked out. This requires the City to acquire a strip of land 44.31 wide by 264.01 long, con-
taining 11659.2 Sq.ft., or 1.93 - 551x 1101 lots -
The water main extension on 3rd Street, Eisenbeis Addition has not been staked out yet,
there being but eight persons that have deposited the money for taps and meters.
I have also measured up the sand pit in Calhoun et. South of Water St. so that when Mr Na-
gel is ready to remove his 100. yda, it can be checked. Yours very truly,
W. J. Sadler
verbally City Engineer.
Supplementing the foregoing, tir. Sadler reporte that two more persons had deposited money
for taps and meters on the proposed 3rd street extension, making ten in all.
Councilman -at -Large, Barry W. Robbins arrived at this time and took his chair.
