As you know, the steal for this pipe line had to be -specially ordered from the east and when the order was placed City Lake could not be unwatered and inhe absence of any plans showing the works between -the shaft and the inlet to the tunnel, we had to make a sufficient allowance in order that therg1would be enough pipe to complete the job. The pipe billed on the enclosed statement represents what is left over. The 12" x 16" pipe can undoubtedly be used in the near future on work outside of the city limits and the 24" pipe can be worked in on further work at City Lake. We recommend that the City purchase this pipe. Yours veryCtruly, EAAR AND CUNNINGHAM. By-J. 0. Baer The said bill of the Steel Tank and Pipe Co. amounting to $313.21 was then presented and read. It was moved by Councilman Quenell and seconded by Co;ineilman Peach that the bill be allowed, and the Mayor and the Clerk be authorized to draw a Nrerrant upon -the proper fund in payment of same. Upon roll call all five councilmen prosont voted in favor thereof, and motion was declared carried.
