CITY OF PORT TONNSEND
Office of
City Engineer
Port Townsend, Washington
Feb-2nd-1929.
To the Mayor and City Council
Gentlemen:
I herewith submit a sketch showing the proposed opening of Blaine Street from Harrison to
Van Buren St., Kuhn's Ranch Add. There are three propositions shown on the sketch. I would
recommend the one shocm in red as the simplest, it requires less trading for right of way than
either the other two and it conforms better to the present layout of the streets in that locality,
it would require'the City of obtain a piece of land approximately 50' x 73' as an outlet to Van
Buren St. I would also recommend that "D" Street in the Webster Add. be straightened out as
shown in red in the upper right hand corner of the sketch.
The City owns this land ut present and the only cost would be the grading.
Sketch should be returned to this office so that tracing can be made for record.
Awaiting your further instructions in this matter, I remain
Yours very truly,
W. J. Sadler City Engineer.
