Baar of Saar and Cunningham, was presented and raad as follows, to -wit: Seattle, Wash., September 22, 1925 Mr. J. 0. Baar, Saar & Cunningham City Hall, Port Townsend, Wash. - Dear Mr. Baar:- After making a survey of•the situation at Port Townsend we find that it is practically impossible to use a solution type chlorinator and still chlorinate all the water delivered. We therefore recommend our Direct Feed Type to be used on the pipe line. The point of application should be at some point along the pipe line where the pr sure never exceeds fifteen pounds to the square inch. We understand that it is possible to find a point that fits this condition. If a Manual Control Chlorina for is used the flow of water should be uniform. The price of our Manual Control Direct Feed Chlorinator, our type MDPM orifice type, is $823.00 F.O.B. Port Townsend, installed under the supervision of our Engineer. For your conditions where it is possible that the flows will be variable our Automatic Direct Feed Chlorinator is particularly. applicable.. In order to in- stall the Automatic Chlorinator it will be necessary to install a venturi meter i the pipe line. The price of this chlorinator without the venturi meter. is $1321 F.O.B. Port To•rm send, installed under the supervision of our engineer. The Chlorinator should be installed in a suitable building, thoroly inst lated with some provision made for heating in extreme cold weather. We want to thank you for calling on us and hope to hear from you...in the near future. Very truly yours, WALLACE & TIERNAN CO. Emerson Dolliver. Order to purchase Ohl&rinator.
