McCurdy and others, in the form of a petition, was presented and read, as follows; to -wit: Port. Townsend, Wash.., August 10, 1928. Honorable City Council, Port Townsend, Wash. Gentlemen: We, the following property holders, owning land in Eisenbeis Addition,and being unable to obtain water, respectfully petition your honorable body to make the following extension to the water system in said Addition: Tap the water line at Twelfth Street and Sherman Street, extend the line southerly nine blocks to the Northeast corner of Sherman Street and Third Street, thence easterly along Third Street, to connect with'the main on Cleveland Street. This extension would' give much needed water facilities to a large number of property owners,•and more would build if assured of water connections.
