The honorable Mayor a.nd the Honorable City Council
of Port Townsend, Washington.
gentlemen:
'.`•'e would like to inquire at this time when delivery of water shall begin
to our plant at Port Townsend. t!e were given to understand that some water would
be ready for our use June lot and later on the date being amended to July lstWle
at the ?,resent time having metered tap to the City of Port Townsend lines and are
daily drawing more and more water.
J Frankly, I feel that any water we ar•e receiving after July 1st should com
under our general agreement for 10 million gallons, and while I re.lize that it- is
h inn,os•sible to make delivery of the entire amount of water at the present date, I
feel that :we are within our reasonable rights by asking; for some of the crater at
j the present time to enable us to carry out our necessary mill operations and that 1;
f this anouit should be increased rapidly to enable us to start operations.
May I ask that you survey the situation and advise me promptly as to when
we :nay reasonably expect up to 5 or 6 million gallons and when we may reasonably ex
nett the entire 10 million gallona to be delivered to us.
Very truly yours,
0. C. Srhoenwerk.
