i The proposal of the Port Townsend Fuel Co., was embodied in the name
letter as their bid for wood, heretofore recorded, and that portion relating
to disposal of garbage ds as follows:
"Regarding the Garbage contract; Inasmuch as we are obliged to keep
the garbage dump in good condition without any expense to the City

feel able to bid over $5.00 for this contract for the ensuing year

keeping others from disposing of rubbish & garbage on the road and approaches

Proposed Municipal Golf Links.
L; At the invitation of the Council, Mr. George Welch, who has been very
active in promoting the proposal, addressed the Council relative to devel-
opzment of the tract known an Haetings Field for a Municipal Golf Links, in-
�� - forming the Council that the County Oommiesioners had accepted the'bid of
Mr. Welch as trustee, for this tract, although the County Treasurer had not
yet signed the deed, and asked the moral support of the council for the prop-
osition. Mayor Bangerter also made a statement that the idea had his full
< approval and that it should prove a splendid investment.
- Upon motion of Councilman Manson, seconded by Councilman Gerson, Council
u adjourned.
