ORDINANCE NO. 1672
AN ORDINANCE VACATING THAT PORTION EpUT

STREET AND JEFFERSON STREET, TIIAT PORTION�J'
OF LINCOLN STREET LYING BETWEEN KEARNEY
STREET AND DECATUR STREET, SUBJECT TO THE
CONDITION TIIAT CONSTRUCTION COMMENCE IN
ONE YEAR, AND VACATING THAT PORTION OF
HAINES STREET LYING BETWEEN FORTY SEVENTH
STREET AND FORTY FIFTH STREET.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF HE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That portion of Morrison Street lying between
Washington Street and Jefferson Street be and the same is hereby
vacated.
Section 2. That portion of Lincoln Street lying between
Kearney Street and Decatur Street is here and hereby vacated, upon
the condition that construction of an addition to a nursing home
shall continence upon said vacated portion of street, within one
year from the date of publication of this ordinance.
Section 3. That portion of Haines Street lying between
47th Street and 45th Street is here and hereby vacated.
Section 4. There is here and hereby reserved in each and
all of the portions of street vacated by this ordinance easements
in and to the City of Port Townsend, its assigns and successors, for
the installation, construction and maintenance of water, sewer.
and utility lines of all kinds.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its pass-
age, approval and publication in the form and manner required by law.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the
Council and approved by the Mayor on April.,17',,) 1973.
