Posting of copies of the Notice of Hearing at least ten days prior to the hearing In (1) the fort fownsend City Hall, (2) the United States Post. Office In Lhe City of Port Townsend, and (3) in a conspicuous place on the property which is the subject matter of the application to the Board; C. Written notice mailed to the owner or reputed owner of the properties within 200 feet of the property which is the subject matter of the application to the Board, which ownership is deemed to be that of the last owner of record in the office of the City of Port Townsend Water Department, said notice to be mailed at least ten days prior to the (late of the proposed hearing; D. The Board shall diligently observe the foregoing requirements with respect to mailing and posting notices, but minor inaccuracies in giving such notice shall not invalidate the proceedings. The Secretary of the Board shall cause said notice to be mailed and the Building Inspector shall cause said notices to be published. Section 6.16 Violations and Penalties. A. Any person or corporation, whether owner, lessee, principal, agent, employee, or otherwise, who violates any of the provisions of this Ordinance or permits any such violation or fails to comply with any of the requirements thereof, or who erects, constructs, reconstructs, alters, enlarges, converts, moves, or uses any building or uses any land in violation of any detailed statement or plans submitted by him and approved under the provisions of this Ordinance, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon con- viction thereof, shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $300.00 )r imprisonment for a period not to exceed 90 days, or both. Each j 30 day continued violation shall constitute a separate additional violation B. In case any building or structure is erected, constructed, recon- structed, altered, converted or maintained, or any building, structure or land is used in violation of this Ordinance, the proper legal authorities of the City of Port Townsend, in add- ition to other remedies, may institute any appropriate action or proceedings to prevent such unlawful erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, conversion, maintenance or use, to restrain, correct or abate such violation, to prevent the oc- cupancy of said building, structure, or land, or to prevent any illegal act, conduct, business or use in or about such building, structures, or land. C. Upon the Building Inspector's awareness of any violation of any of the provisions of this Ordinance, the Building Inspector shall serve notice of such violation on the person or corporation committing or permitting the same, and it such violation has not VI-6
