Aid ORDINANCE VACATING THE WESTERLY 110 FEET OF THAT
PORTION OI' FRANKL:IN STRLET LYING BET;vEEN MONROE
STREET AND JACKSON S'TRELT, RESERVING EASEPdJ NTS 'THEREIN
AND PROVIDING FOR COSTS OF PUBLICATION OF ORD'INANCE.
TIME CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION
ASSEMMED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Westerly 110 feet of that portion of Fananklin
Streetlying-between Monroo Street and Jackson Street in the City
of Port Townsend is here and hereby vacated, provided, however, that
there is here and hereby reserved unto the City of Port Townsend and
its successors and assigns a perpetual easement over, through and
across said vacated portion of street for the installation, mainten-
ance and repair of utility linos of all kinds, including but not
being limited to water, sewage, electricity, telephone and gas lines,&VA
including the right- of ingress and egress fna purposes of installation,
maintenance and repair.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage,
approvesand publication in the form and manner provided by law, and
upon payment of costs of publication of this ordinance by petitioners
for the above mentioned vacation.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the
Council and approved by the !Mayor at a meeting held on June 7, 1966.
