HomeMy WebLinkAbout02027ORDINANCE NO. 1467 AN ORDINANCE VACATING HAINES AND MC NEILL STREETS BETWEEN 12TH STREET AND SIMS WAY, AND LANDES STREET AND KUHN STREET BETWEEN 12th ST. AND SIMS WAY, AND ALSO VACATING THOSE ALLEYS LYING IN BLOCKS 19, 20 and 30 of THE EISENBEIS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND AND THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 4 OF THE RAILROAD ADDITION TO TIIE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, AND THAT ALLEY LYING BETWEEN BLOCK 10 OF EISENBEIS ADDITION TO TIIE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND AND BLOCK 5 OF THE RAILROAD ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND, IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Those portions of Baines St., McNeill St., Landes St. and K—Bain St. lying between the southerly boundary of 12th St. . and the northerly boundary of Sims Way, in the City of Port Townsend, are here and hereby vacated and removed from the public street system of the City of Port Townsend. Section 2. Those public alleys lying in block 19, block 20 and block 30 of the Eisenbeis Addition to the City of Port Townsend, and block 4 of the Railroad Addition to the City of Port Townsend, together with that alley lying between block 10 of the Eisenbeis Addition to the City of Port Townsend and block 5 of the Railroad Addition to the City of Port Townsend, are hereby vacated and removed from the public street system of the City of Port Townsend. Section 3. The vacation herein provided is made upon the condition that the petitioner for vacation, H.J. Carroll, shall pay the expenses of publication of this Ordinance. Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage, approval and publication in the form and manner required by law.
