An ordinance of the City of Port Townsend establishing
a monthly sewer maintenance charge of $1.00 on each
premises connected to a sewer in said city.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND,N,IN REGULAR
SESSION ASSEMBLED, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is here and hereby levied upon each premises
connected to the sewer system of the City of Port Townsend a sewer
maintenance charge of $1.00 per month for each premises connected to
the sewerage system of said city, beginning and commencing on January
1, 1960.
,,, Section 2. The charges hereby levied shall be payable on or
before the first day of each and every month, beginning January 1,
1960, and shall be paid on all premises occupied and for which sewer
service is provided. All monthly payments hereby required shall be
made at the office of the City Treasurer of the City of Port Townsend.
Section 3. For the purpose of determining whether or not a
sewer maintenance charge is due and owing on any given premises,
the test shall be that one charge shall be made for each connection
to the sewer system of said citya�_ ��- �.,��•� �..�' 1�:=M �, �.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect five days after its
passage, approval and publication as required by law.
Read for the first, second and third times, passed by the Council
and approved by the Mayor at a regular session of the City Council
on August 4, 1959.
