AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORT TOWNSEND AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A
il'4KYJU LEASE OF THE WESTERN QUADRANT OF THE PLAZA AREA
OF FOWLER'S ADDITION TO SAID CITY.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Port
Townsend, Washington, in regular session assembled, as follows:
Section 1. The mayor and City Clerk of the City of Port
Townsend are here and hereby directed and authorized to execute
and deliver, unto John H. Doll and Florence K. Doll as lessees,
a lease for a term of twenty (20) years at a rental of One
Dollar ($1.00) per annum, of the following described property:
That portion of Fowler's Park Addition to the
City of Port Townsend which lies in the Plaza
area of said addition, and is bounded on the
Northeasterly side by Peary Street and on the
Southeasterly side by Cook Street and on the
Westerly side by Virginia Place, but not
including any portion of any street herein
mentioned and not previously vacated.
Section 2. This ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
Introduced and read for the first, seconcj and third times,
paced by the Council and approved by the Mayor at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on April 7th, 1959.

veto and decline to sifn the above
and foregoing Ordinance, for the
reason that there was not a sufficient
investi,;ation made of the conditions
surrounding the subject matter, and
that the futuro use and development
of affected areas of the City was
not given adequate consideration.
