Section 8: It shall be the duty of the District Health
Officer or his authori..ed representative to enforce the provisions
of this ordinance.
Section 9: Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate,
or shall refuse or fail to comply with any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a
fine of not less than ;,;25.00 nor more than }100.00 or by imprison-
ment not to exceed a period of 60 days, or by both such fine and
imprisonment.
Section 10% Every person, firm or corporation who shall
continue any violation of this ordinance after 10 days written
notice to them by the District Health Officer that such violation
exists, shall be deemed guilty of a separate violation for each
and every day during which the said violation shall continue, and
shall be punishable as hereinbefore provided.
Section 11: Should any section or portion of this ordinance
be found unconstitutional or contrary to statute, the remaining
sections or portions shall not thereby be rendered invalid.
Section 12: Any ordinance or ordinances or portions thereof
which may be in conflict with this ordinance or any provision
hereof are hereby repealed.
Section lb: This ordinance is hereby declared to be necess
for the preservation of the public health and welfare, and is
further declared to be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
Introduced and read for the first time at a regular meeting
of the City Council, held on the 19th day of February, 1957.
