In the event the majority of the voters of the City of Port Townsend voting at said election vote to ap- prove Ordinance No. 1319, such ordinance shall take effect and the said lease promptly shall be executed by the Mayor and by the City Clerk of the City of Port Townsend on behalf of said City. Section 5. This ordinance shall be published once in the "Port Townsend Leader" on March 8, 1956. Section 6. This ordinance is declared to be one necessary for the immediate preservation of the property, health and welfare of the people of the City of Port Townsend, Washington. An emergency is hereby declared to exist and.this ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as required by law.
