follows:
Section 1. That Section 1 or vrdinancc no. 1083.entitled
"An Ordinance providing; for the licensing; for revenue and regula-
tion of machines or devices for playing games of skill, and re-
pealing all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with," passed by the City Council Decembov 7, 1937, and approved
by the layer December S, 1937, be and; tKc some is hereby amended
to read as follows:
Each and every person, firm or corporation having; at any place
or places within the City of Port Townsend, a device, devices,
machines or machines for playing games of skill, comnonly known as
pin and ball machines or devices in which coins may be dropped for
the purpose of onorat-inr said mnaline, which may be legally operated
within the `sate of ' ushington, shall pay an annual license fee in
the sum of A1,000.00 for an owner's or operator's license and, in
addition thereto, shall nay a feo of :2.50 per month, payable monthly
in advance for each and evevv :o3h ine owned and oocsa+teu by such
licensee.
