That Section 1 of Ordinance ?ro. 1069 of the City of Port Townsend, entitled "An'ordinanee providing for the licensing for revenue and regulation for playing games of skill, and ropealinf� all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith," be and the some is hereb;✓ amended to read as follows: Each and every person, firm or corporation having at any place or places within the City of Port To•.m::end, a device, devices, machine or machines for play- Inp games of shill, commonly known as pin and ball machines or devices in varich coins may be drorned for the purpose of operating said machine, which may be legally operated within the State of CJashinctoil, shall pay an annual license foe in the sum of 000.00, for an owner's or operator's license and, in addition thereto, shall pay a fee of 42.50 per month, paya`)le monthly in advance on the first do;l thereof for each and every machine owned and operated by such licensee.
