4 AN ORDINANCE relating to the standing or parking of motor vehicles on the streets
of the City of Port Townsend, and providing penalties for violation
5 thereof.
6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT TOVINSEND, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOISt
7 Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person to stand or park any
8 motor vehicle continuously at the same place for more than two hours on the
9 following described streets of the City of Port Townsend, that is to says
10 On Water Street from Fillmore Street to Monroe Street;
On Taylor Street from Front Street to Washington Street;
11 On Adams Street from Front Street to Washington Street;
On Washington Street from Taylor Street to Adams Street;
12 On Lawrence Street from Polk Street to Taylor Street;
On Tyler Street from Lincoln Street to Clay Street;

covering a period of time from 9l00 o'clock in the forenoon to 5t00 ofolock, in
14
the afternoon on any day of the week except Sundays and holidays, PROvID11;D9 HON-
15
BTER, that the provisions of this paragraph shall not apply to certain zones upon
16
the foregoing described streets, that may be designated by the City Council.

Section 2. That any person convicted of violating this ordinance shall be
18
gailty.of a misdemeanor and shall be punished therefor by a fine of not to exceed
19
410*00, or imprisonment in the City Jail for a period of not exceeding ten days,
20
or both such fine and imprisonment.

Section 3. That this ordinance be published once in the Port Townsend header
22
to be in force and take effect November 15, 1939. .
