Section 2. That the Ltayor and the City Clerk of
the City of Port Toimsend be and they are Yiereoy directed to exe-
cute a lease of that part of the water works and system as describ-
ed in said resolution, which lease shall be in the following form;

ation of the State of Yashingrton, hereinafter called the City,

corporation, hereinafter called the Lessee, party of the second

1• The City hereuy leases to the Lessee that part of
its water -works and system lying; outsiae of the limits of said
city, more particularly described as follows:
The present head -works and the diversion dam on Snow
Creek, in Section 4, 'Township 28 north, Range 2 ?West, W. 11.2
Jefferson County, 'Washington, and the pipe line and right-of-way
leading from said head -works and diversion dam in a general East-
erly direction to a junction with the new pipe line to be con-,
strutted from the big Quilcene River in the iiorthwest Quarter of
the Southwest ,Iuarter of ;section 1, Township 28 North, Range 2
'Rest, 'C1. H.; also the head -works and diversion dam to be erected
under the plan or system known as the "big Quilcene Water Exten-
sion Project," which dam is to be constructed across the big Quil
cene River immediately below its confluence with `funnel Creek at
