send, for the year 1918, quid repoalir_g all ordinances or parts
thereof in conflict herewith.

The City Council of the City of Port Townsend, Washington
do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That certain appointed officers and employees
hereinafter named of the City of Port Townsend, shall receive and
be paid in full for all services rendered for the year 1918
beginning with the first day of January of said year, the fol1wing
monthly salary and compensation, payable on the first day of every
succeeding month, towdt:
Water Superintendant and Auditor, One Iiindred and Fifty
(t,150.00) Dollars; Assistant dater Super intendant, One Hundred
($100.00) Dollars; Chief of Police, Ninety-five (�95.00) Dollars;
Patrolm<.ui, Eighty (:80.00) Dollars; Polico.Ttstice, Fifteen
(015.00) Dollars; Street Superinte dan, Eighty-five (05000)
Dollars; Janitor and Stoker, (r"° Dollars;
Chief of Fire Depa
rtment, Fifteen ($15.00) Dollars; Park
Gardner,?rpt/ '7Gi+� _ .. (� 00- Dollars; and all other
employees of the city shall receive and be paid such compensation
as the city cowncil may from time to time order by motion. The
persons appointed to fill the offices of City Engineer and Pound -
master shall receive no salary as such officers, their monthly
salary and conl)ensation received for services in other departments
of the city shall include the payment for their services when
performing the duties of City Engineer and Pounndinra.ster.
Section: 2. Tlnat all ordinances or parts the:cof in conflict
herewith areheiEby repealed.
Section_ 3. This ordinance shall be published once in the
Daily Leader and shall take effect and be inforce rive days after
such publication:.
