nt all tames, by a general ordinance,to regulite the speed of
locomotives and trains •:within the limits of the right of way
herein granted, and shall h,ve ouch further control and police
I power over such right of way as the city ordinances now or
hereafter permit; ❑nd t:;e city reserves to itself, and its
grantees, the right to c!,rry all water mains, sever mains, gas
pipes, wires, conduits and other public utilities underneath,
or wires above any and all of the tracks herein authorized,
which rights shall be exercised, however, so as not to inter-
fere with the practical use of said tracks, and so as to leave
the right of way occupied thereby restored to as good condi-
tion as it was prior to any exercise of such rights by the said
city.
Section 4. That, in the use of the tracks authorized
by this ordinance, said grantee, his successors or assigns,
shall have the right to use electric, steam or other motive
power as he or they shall deem suitable, subject to the lawful
and reasonable control and regulations of the city of Port
Townsend.
Section 5. In addition to such poles and wires so to
be erected for the purpose of supplying electric current, they
may also be used to carry wires for power, heat and lighting
purposes, for the use of company only, ind the right is hereby
granted daring the term hereof to connect the wires herein au-
thorized with any power station or car house in connection with
said street railroad system, and said grantee may convey wires
from such power house to the line of wires hereby authorized,
upon poles placed upon or along the highways or -)lleys of the
city?
Section 6. That whenever said city of Port Townsend
shall cause the co -terminus portion of any street upon which
