That permission is hereby granted to tho "nited States to oroct poles and string wires thereon within the limits of the City of Port Townsend, ',Washington, on the stroets and parts of streets hereinafter named for the purpose of establishing and main- taining, an aerial line of communication within and without said City: That the streets and parts of streets on which the said line may be so established and maintained are as follows: Cotmaoncing :vhoro the eastern and of 47th street meats the, west boundary line of the Unit& Statas ;.Iilitary Reservation of Port Warden, Washington, thence west on 47th street to San .Yuan Avenue; thanco south on San Juan Avenue to Discovery Road; thence ajong to Discovery Road to 28th street (also called Hastings Avenue); thence along said 28th strnat west to the western boundary of the city limits of said City of Port Townsend, '.Washington. loc. 2. That the said poles are to be so placed as to inter' fare as littly as possible with regular travel on said streets, 4nd are to be placed under the direction of the Street Comnitteeof said City Council, and the said line is to be so erected and main- tained as to secure the greatest amount of safety possible to trav- elers an& to abutting property owners, and in case the city author - ties grade or regrade any of the said streets the said grantee is to move the said poles and place them according to the now grade or regrada at its own expense. Soc.3. This ordinar:ca shall be puhlished once in the Daily Leadnr and shall take arfect,and be in force as provided by law, but if not arcoptod in writing by the grantee within thirty days after its passage and approval, small hecume null and void without ,further action of the City.
